COVID-19 Updates

The Legendary Dungeon of Doom Haunted House has been working nonstop to ensure our customers get to experience one of the highest rated haunted attractions in the nation this halloween season. We are working with multiple companies to ensure a safe, healthy, and sanitized environment for both our customers and our staff members. Throughout the month of July, we will be releasing videos describing in detail every step we are taking to create and maintain a safe environment.

We have broken down each aspect of a safe environment in the videos below. We have also included frequently asked questions and a full statement below.

Please remember that visiting any public space comes with an inherent risk and, although we are doing everything possible to create a safe environment, cannot remove all risks of the Covid-19 virus. It is up to each individual to understand and accept these risks.

We understand that you may still have questions, comments, and concerns regarding our operation for the 2020 season. Please do not hesitate to contact via email here or at:

Sanitation

This week we are covering the sanitation procedures already in place for the 2020 season. We have been working with multiple companies to find the best products that is health for not only our customers, but our staff as well.

All staff members will be required to participate in a temperature screening before entering the building. If anyone reads a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher will be asked to return home.

All staff members will be required to wear a mask before entering the building and during their entire shift.

Hand sanitation stations will be placed throughout the building for both our customers and our staff. Both customers and staff will be required to use the hand sanitizer before entering the building and throughout their experience.

We are closely following both state and city guidelines which may result in customers participating in a temperature screening as well as wearing face coverings throughout their experience inside the building.

social distancing

This week we are focusing on the steps we are taking to promote social distancing while at our attraction, as well as our brand new ticketing system.

The Legendary Dungeon of Doom Haunted House will be implementing a reservation based timed ticketing system that will act as a digital queue line. This will eliminate the need to wait in a line with a large crowd.

It will be required for all customers to make a reservation before leaving your home. This will allow us to limit the overall capacity of the building to ensure we are following state and city regulations.

Once you have made a reservation, you will only be allowed to enter our parking lot during your time slot. Once you have parked, you must wait in your vehicle until you have received a SMS text message notification letting you know it's your time to enter the attraction.

Because of our new reservation based timed ticketing system and the need to social distance, our indoor waiting line will be changing for the 2020 season. This year we have added social distancing markers that are six feet apart throughout the entire indoor queue line. This has drastically reduced the capacity of the line, so guests will experience much shorter waiting times while indoors.

Although there is always an inherent risk of being in public during this time, The Dungeon of Doom Haunted House will not stop working to help create an environment that is safe for our customers and our staff members. It is the responsibility of each individual to understand that risk.

Operation changes

The Legendary Dungeon of Doom Haunted House has been hard at work modifying our operation to help create a safe environment for our customers and our staff members.

This week we are focusing on all of the changes within the attraction. One of the biggest changes for the 2020 season is the separation between groups. As we mentioned in last week's video, groups will be separated approximately two minutes apart from each other. This will lead to a more intimate and immersive experience unlike we've ever done in the past and will also help enforce social distancing.

Throughout our entire attraction we have added plexiglass shields to allow our actors to still get the intense jump scares you've come to know and love at our haunted house. This allows our actors to get close to the customers while still being separated with a shield.

Our actors within the attraction will also be required to wear either a face shield or a face covering. If the state and city guidelines require it, actors will be required to wear both a face shield and a face covering.

We have also been hard at work creating new experiences and renovating old ones to give our customers something new and exciting for the 2020 season. Attractions like The Boiler Room, Quimby's Slaughter House, The Underworld, and Industrial Chaos have been renovated to incorporate new scares and a new layout.

Our beloved clown room has been torn down and relocated directly after our Freak Show Stage. This relocation has given us a clean slate for a brand new attraction for the 2020 season.

We are getting closer to our massive announcement that we cannot wait to share with everyone. Stay tuned...
